What I Learned from Designing my Portfolio

Image
Starting my portfolio was something I had put off for a long time. I'd tell myself, "I'll do it later". After procrastinating, I finally decided to sit down and get it done. It took me two days to build my portfolio. I used the first day to draft the content, structure, compose write up and mapped out how I wanted it to look. Then on the second day I did the designing  So while I was glancing through all the pages of the portfolio, I didn't save an original copy of the file. I converted it to a different format and everything just scattered, the design got completely messed up. I was so devastated and angry and wondered how I didn't save the original copy before converting to another format A week passed and I couldn't shake off the feeling of disappointment, I had already sent the portfolio link to clients and if they clicked on it, they'd see it scattered and disorganized so I knew I had to fix it up Something inside me whispered, "T...

They are the ones who buy the product and provide feedback, which keeps the business going. Some businesses forget to listen to th...
